Shopify speed grader
Scaling Socials built this to put a number on store speed: grade your Largest Contentful Paint against Google’s Core Web Vitals, then model what reaching the 2.5s “Good” bar could be worth, using a conversion assumption you set yourself.
How the grade and estimate work
Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how long the main content takes to appear. Google’s Core Web Vitals rate it Good at 2.5s or under, Needs improvement up to 4s, and Poor above 4s.
Seconds saved = current LCP − 2.5s.
Modelled conversion uplift = seconds saved × your assumed change per second.
Extra revenue = sessions × change in conversion rate × AOV.
The uplift figure is an assumption you control, not a claimed industry constant, so set it conservatively. Worked example: a store at 4.2s LCP is 1.7s over the Good bar; at an assumed 7% conversion change per second, a 1.8% conversion rate models to about 2.0%, and on 40,000 monthly sessions that is roughly ₹1.4L of modelled monthly revenue at a ₹1,500 AOV. This is an illustrative model, not a client result or a guarantee.

Google rates LCP Good at 2.5s or under, Needs improvement up to 4s, and Poor above 4s. Your 4.2s is 1.7s over the Good bar.
Reaching 2.5s at your assumed 7% per second lifts conversion from 1.8% to 2.01% — about 86 more orders a month. This is a modelled estimate from your assumption, not a guarantee.
